First edition illustrated by Vesle Cosman Brøndum, second edition by Peter Bay Alexandersen. My time in Damascus has had such an impact on everything in my life that it was not enough to write the novel "Where the Moon Lies Down", I also had to write an adventure from there. It became "Fadul and the whole mess". A book I loved writing. A fairy tale about Fadul and his little sister Lamia who live in the big merchant's house in Damascus. Inside the big merchant's gate, all is well, but outside and up in the mountains, danger lurks.
"Flying carpets and cold flying lizards, dangerous poisonings and free-floating escape plans ... in short: The whole mess" (in Danish) (Berlingske Tidende)
